Applies to Connecting to pgAdmin3 database
Issue Summary
When trying to connect to the pgAdmin3 database for the first time was getting an error stating that the server wasn’t listening.
Steps to fix the problem
What I did to fix the problem is I went to my services on the server and noticed that there was actually a different version of the software whose service was running. I deleted that older version of the software and started the version I was using. Once the service was running I was able to connect to the database without incident.
