Receiving error code 1603 when installing/upgrading Java JRE - conflict with UFT : Bienabee

Issue:

With HP UFT installed, Java JRE does not install successfully. Instead user receives Error Code 1603: Java Install did not complete.

Solution:

Remove the following Environment variables:

_JAVA_OPTIONS

_IBM_JAVA_OPTIONS

JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS

*Note that UFT cannot identify Java components without these variables, so they must be added again after Java is successfully installed.
